Teachers
Registration will be open from January 15 to 24, 2025.
If you are interested in bringing your class to the Festival, please fill in the "Expression of Interest" form. ONE FORM PER SCHOOL. The Festival is a very popular learning opportunity and spaces are limited. Filling in the expression of interest form does not guarantee your class a spot at the Festival. Priority will be given to schools in Woodstock and Oxford County. The Water Festival Coordinator will contact schools at the end of January to confirm registration.

Registration is $12/student (teachers and supervisors are free of charge).

The TVDSB and LDCSB will cover a portion of the registration fee ($7) and the cost of busing for their respective schools. TVDSB and LDCSB schools will be required to pay the remaining $5 per student. Because this opportunity is already subsidized by Outdoor Education Funding, the $5 charge is not eligible for further Outdoor Education Funding.

Buses
All busing will be organized by the Festival Coordinator.

Teacher Orientation Sessions
Teachers who have not attended the Festival in the past will be expected to attend a virtual 30 minute Teacher Orientation Session prior to the Festival.

Activity Stations
The Children's Water Festival will feature over 45 activity stations based around 5 themes: water conservation, water protection, water attitude, water science and water technology.
ALL STATIONS ARE LINKED TO THE ONTARIO CURRICULUM (coming soon).
